Somatic Pilates with Sylvia

Somatic pilates is a holistic approach to traditional pilates that focuses on the mind-body connection to enhance physical and emotional well-being.

I work to integrate somatic principles which emphasize awareness of the bodily sensations, with pilates exercises to promote stress relief and nervous system balance.

By engaging in mindful movements and paying attention to how the body feels during exercises, clients can increase their proprioception, or body awareness, leading to improved posture, flexibility and overall physical health.
